The worst thing you can do to a person is make them feel like you care more than you actually do.
I’ve never met a worse feeling in my life. I’ll never understand how someone can build you up with such pretty words and make you feel on top of the world, do and say all the right things at all the right times, then turn around and screw you over; after all this time that you thought you meant more than words are worth to them. It’s a bizarre kind of torture, to actually grasp the fact that you were just a convenience for them, just something to pass the time. It almost gives you a feeling of worthlessness… and oh what a terrible feeling.
